The SkateEdu Student Pathway
Our pathway is broken down into five distinct levels, tailored by age, skill, and skating style. Most of our core stages are structured in 9-week terms to ensure steady progression.
1. KinderSkate (Ages 5–6) (Yellow)
• The Goal: A playful intro to balance! We focus on fundamental skateboarding from flatground to various terrains with the aim of progressing to NoviceSkate.
• Class Details: 60-minute sessions in small groups of up to 3 students.
• Structure:
◦ Stage 1 - 9 weeks (Modules 1 to 6)
◦ Stage 2 - 9 weeks (Modules 7 to 12)
2. NoviceSkate (Ages 7–12) (Green)
• The Goal: Brand new to skating? Start here! This level builds fundamental skateboarding skills from flatground up to various terrains, preparing students to progress to BeginnerSkate.
• Class Details: 90-minute sessions in small groups of up to 4 students.
• Structure:
◦ Stage 1 - 9 weeks (Modules 1 to 6)
◦ Stage 2 - 9 weeks (Modules 7 to 12)
3. BeginnerSkate (Ages 7+) (Blue)
• The Goal: Solidify foundations! Students will mix flatground and various terrain skating, learning essentials like pumping, kick turns, acid drops, drop-ins, and basic stalls to prepare for IntermediateSkate.
• Class Details: 90-minute sessions in small groups of up to 4 students.
• Structure:
◦ Stage 1 - 9 weeks (Modules 1 to 6)
◦ Stage 2 - 9 weeks (Modules 7 to 12)

4. IntermediateSkate (Ages 7+) (Purple)
• The Goal: Technical tricks & style! This is where training diverges into specialized street and park skateboarding. Students engage in trick-performance-based learning, mastering higher-level transition riding, creating lines, and navigating higher difficulty methods and terrains.
• Class Details: 90-minute sessions in small groups of up to 4 students.
• Structure:
◦ STREET Custom tailored group learning
◦ Stage 1 - 9 weeks (Modules 1 to 6)
◦ Stage 2 - 9 weeks (Modules 7 to 12)
◦ PARK Custom tailored group learning
◦ Stage 1 - 9 weeks (Modules 1 to 6)
◦ Stage 2 - 9 weeks (Modules 7 to 12)
5. AdvanceSkate (Red)
• The Goal: Train for competition!
• Structure: This level runs as a dedicated Semester Programme for students who have successfully progressed through the Intermediate stage.
