Protective Gear Set – Knee, Elbow & Wrist
Entry-level protective gear for new skaters, from kids aged 7 to adults. The set includes knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards with hard shells and adjustable straps, the same setup our students wear in every lesson. Not sure which size? Ask any SKATEedu coach at your next lesson.
General size guide
S: most kids aged 7–10, about 25–40 kg
M: most kids aged 11–14 and smaller adults, about 40–60 kg
L: teens and adults, about 60 kg and up
How to check the fit: pads should feel snug with the straps done up, with the hard cap sitting centred over the knee or elbow. They shouldn't slide down when you bend or jump. Wrist guards should let you move your fingers freely, with the splint along the palm. If you're between sizes, choose the larger one and tighten the straps. This is a general guide only; build varies, so ask a coach to check the fit at your next lesson.
