Who 1-on-1 is for.
Little ones, ages 3 to 4.
At 3 and 4, most children aren't ready for a group class yet. Attention spans are short, balance is still developing, and they need a coach right beside them. Our 30-minute sessions are paced for little legs, with full care and attention: holding hands for the first rolls, turning drills into games, and building the confidence to join KinderSkate at age 5.
Training for performance.
Preparing for a competition, a level assessment or a specific trick? One-on-one coaching gives you a plan built around your goals, instant feedback on every attempt, and time to break down technique properly, so you progress faster than a group pace allows.
Exclusive coaching attention.
Prefer a coach all to yourself? Private skateboard lessons are ideal for nervous first-timers, adults returning after a break, or anyone who learns best without an audience. You set the goals and the pace, and your coach focuses only on you.

Attention and pace.
1-on-1: your coach's full attention for the whole session, with the pace set by you and adjusted every time. Group: one coach for up to 3 or 4 skaters, following a structured term plan of 9 weekly lessons.
Who private skateboard lessons suit.
1-on-1: ages 3 to 4, skaters training for performance, and nervous learners who want a quieter start. Group: ages 5 and up who enjoy learning alongside friends and cheering each other on. Many students start 1-on-1 and move into a group once they're confident.
Session length and price.
1-on-1: 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on age, from $42 a session. Group: 60 or 90 minutes depending on level, from $342 a term. Not sure which suits you? Book a trial and your coach will recommend the best fit.
